Element: Prepare for maintenance
  • Marina infrastructure that requires regular maintenance is recognised and confirmed with relevant personnel, as required
       
Element: Hazards are identified, risks are assessed, and control measures implemented according to workplace procedures and supervisor instructions
       
Element: Appropriate plant, tools and equipment required to undertake maintenance activities are identified and assembled according to workplace procedures
       
Element: Emergency procedures are accessed, reviewed and clarified with appropriate personnel
       
Element: Skills and experience of marina personnel for maintenance activities are identified
       
Element: Maintenance schedule is obtained and interpreted
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is identified, selected and used according to workplace procedures

Assessment Tasks
